In Loving Memory of Frank Walsh
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Frank Walsh, affectionately known to so many as Mr Orford.
Frank was far more than the founder of Orford Football Club – he was its heart and soul. Fifty years ago, through sheer passion, hard work, and belief in the power of community sport, Frank laid the foundations for what has grown into a proud club of open age and junior teams. Without his dedication and tireless commitment over the years, Orford Juniors FC simply would not be what it is today.
Generations of players, volunteers, and supporters have benefitted from Frank’s vision. He gave countless hours behind the scenes, always putting the club and its people first, and his influence will continue to be felt every time a team pulls on the green shirt.
Frank leaves behind a legacy built on loyalty, kindness, and an unwavering love for the club he created. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
